I love zombie movies. I have done so since I was eight. I love anything new filmmakers can add to the genre. I’m looking forward to Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead. Well, at least I was until I saw the poster. Now I’m concerned it will be nothing more than a cookie cutter movie.

I understand there are only so many places you can take a zombie movie poster, but come on guys, the “hand out of the ground” concept has been done over and over again. The Dead Don’t Die just did it, and just a casual glance online brought up over a dozen designs.

Now, Army of the Dead turns this over.

If you’re going to add something new to the genre, try something new with the poster.
