Progress on My New Writing Projects: Updates Inside

After a little gremlin in the system, my site is back online.

A quick update on things.

Shadowblade

Issue #3 is still being finished. Kevin is still hard at work coloring. I have finished the lettering and all covers are done. We still have a little ways to go, but it is going to be worth it.

Death Just Wanted To Eat Waffles

I just reached page 200 and am deep into the second act. As this is the conclusion to the trilogy I have a lot of threads to wrap up.

*secret horror script*

Turned over to the director. More news coming as soon as I can. NDA’s and all that.

Trading Grandma

My new screenplay that is actually going to be a stage play first. It’s a dark humor script that I will reveal more later. Wrapping up the first draft. Hoping to get it finished on the flight to Tokyo next week. In other news, I’m going to Tokyo next week!!!

Are there any projects you’re excited for?

Dr. Saville’s Horror Show An Official Selection At Tucson Terrorfest

I am really excited to announce that Dr. Saville’s Horror Show has been announced as an official selection at the Tucson Terrorfest. This is our third official selection so far!

Dr. Saville’s Horror Show Update

Two weeks ago we wrapped production on the third and final story in Dr. Saville’s Horror Show. Yesterday I finished the first draft of the wraparound script with the goal of starting filming in early February.

We are currently working on a prequel comic book series and I finished the second draft of the first issue last week. Once we lock the script down we can get it to our artist and I can finish up the final three issues.

Speaking of comic books, I’m in the process of drafting out a 12 issue prequel story to Blade of the S.A.M.U.R.A.I. It’s been really exciting getting back to writing for these characters.

I have lots coming down the pipeline next year, and 2020 will see me busier than ever with my writing. Two screenplays, two comics and two novels. Now, if I can only remember to keep my blog updated. Maybe I can even get some more subscribers!
